We don't believe a promoter should have to pay to become an 'approved' GBA promoter. In effect, that's paying now for the right to pay again later to sanction a bout.
WE SUPPORT LOCAL REFEREES AND JUDGES
The GBA supports the use of local referees, judges, timekeepers, and medical personnel. This GBA rule alone can cut pre-fight paperwork by over 50%!
NO TRAVELING REPRESENTATIVE
As an added cost savings for promoters, the GBA has eliminated the position of traveling representative. Since the traveling sanctioning body representative has been reduced to a ceremonial position there is no justification for a promoter to pay for it.
